Great catch DW. I agree with you 100%, but the list was more pointing out players who ended their career because of concussions. Richter actually sustained two concussions before calling it quits and I think it is the NHL’s duty to look into everything related to head shots and concussions (equipment, rules, etc.) to protect the players.

Your list includes Mike Richter, the goalie. He took a hard puck to the melon and fractured his skull which forced him into retirement. You gonna ban players from shooting pucks high?

There is a way to receive a free PIN Card. Have a look at one of the points from the Rules and Regulations.

To receive a Sport Chek Reebok PIN Card without purchase, please send a self‐addressed stamped envelope to “Sport Chek Sidney Crosby Contest”, 824 41st Avenue, NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 3R3. Limit one request per envelope. Include your name, return mailing address, state the reason why you want to meet Sidney Crosby in no more than 25 words (each reason must be unique per request) and your signature. Requests must be received in time so that a unique PIN Card can be mailed to you via Canada Post in time to participate before the Contest Close Date of February 4, 2011.
