HockeyDen is back with a new look, new topics, and some new features.  I learned a lot last year and have decided to take HockeyDen in a different direction.  I will still cover topics about collectibles and cards, but want to open it up to more general hockey topics.  You can see from some of the topics and posts already that we will be covering topics like general hockey news, gear, design, links, games, etc.

There are a lot of great blogs out there but the ones I seem to be drawn to are the ones that are more honest and give their personal take on things like Sports Card Uncensored and Voice of the Collector.  These sites cover all sports but mostly focus on baseball and football. 

Trying to balance outside hobbies with kids, work, life, and other commitments is difficult, so Shawn and I decided that I would focus on HockeyDen and he would focus on HockeyBuzz.  I will still try to do some box breaks every now and again but will probably just post the big hits and will not be doing video breaks.  I would rather put the time into posting something new on the site everyday, than editing video.

The podcast is up in the air right now until the site gets moving forward.  Again, I want to make sure that there is new content being generated on an ongoing basis on the site.  I also want to cover some topics like design and social media and how they are impacting hockey and the collectible/card industry.  Who knows maybe you will see some new card design concepts in the coming months.
