Helping others is their "goal"

I have been communicating with Mark Stewart, the Managing Director of We Shoot...We Score...A Cure for...Inc. over the past few months and was seriously touched by his Shutout MS story we posted here several months ago and contuinue to be extremely impressed by all the work he is doing to help people by hosting a number of sporting events throughout the year.  The money raised at these events help people, families, and charities in need.  He asked if he could post some information about some upcoming events and I said absolutely.

We all have a passion for collecting and the game of hockey, but Mark takes that passion to a whole new level.  Have a look below and see how you can help.

My Name is Mark Stewart, I have created a growing charity event called We Shoot...We Score...A Cure for... in which we will host a number of events throughout the year, Including Ice hockey, Ball hockey, Softball, Baseball, Golf, Volleyball, Bowling, all in an effort to help people, families and charities in need.

We are working hard on the Incorporation of our non-profit charity organization so we may be able to get more community support and sponsors, so we need your support more than ever.

This venture has become my life’s mission so to speak as I truly know what it is like to be disabled, suffer and need help. I myself have progressive MS and see firsthand the struggles of someone disabled. I vow to change that. I have been running different events and tournaments since 2007, and absolutely love to be able to give back. What a feeling it is seeing someone smile because of an event that will affect them personally.

I will host an Ice hockey tourney June 26 & 27th in Brampton, Ontario at the Powerade centre which is open to anyone who has a team who wants to play for a great cause, have some fun and meet some great people. We have been called the most competitive fun filled tourney I have ever played in, and one person said having Johnny Bower as our surprise coach was not only an honour but the best thing that has happened through my hockey lifetime.

We will also host a Softball event (Sat) Aug 7th at the Powerade centre in Brampton, which is again open to all co-ed teams to come out and raise some money for a different charity. We have a great time while making a difference in the lives of others.

If this isn’t enough you can get registered for Ball hockey taking place on Sept. 17-18-19 again in Brampton at the Powerade centre. This is a tourney for teams of tier 3-4-5 calibre or co-ed teams as well. This is another great event to make a difference in the lives of others.

We have also teamed up with a great company who makes “Spirit of hockey” calendars, which we have the rights to sell for our charity. These incredible calendars sell for $20 and of that $5 will go to the charity of your choice and $5 will go to the WSWS fund. Imagine the feeling of being able to get a nostalgic look back at our hockey roots and help others again. ( you can view the calendars on our site).

My life has truly changed since I started We Shoot...We Score and I hope you can be a part of our success.  For more information on our events you can visit us at WWW.WESHOOTWESCORE.COM  or join our facebook group under the We Shoot...We Score... name.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT, EVERY DOLLAR HELPS, EVERY PENNY COUNTS.
