Crosby brought a nation to its feet.
How fitting was it that Gretzky started the 2010 Olympics and Crosby ended them? You could say it was a true passing of the Torch. The "Golden Goal" was a perfect ending to one of the most exciting Olympics in Canadian history. Sidney Crosby continues to add to his already shining resume. He is a Junior Silver/Gold Medal Winner, a Stanley Cup Champion, and now an Olympic Gold Medal Winner. He brought a nation to it's feet and helped the country make history by winning the most gold medals ever at an Olympic Winter Games. Russia and Norway held the previous record with thirteen Gold medals.
My hats off to all the countries that helped make this an Olympics to remember. The competition was just amazing and I can't remember ever being so glued to the TV like I was during this Olympics.
Being a proud Canadian though I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all the Canadian athletes who helped us "Own The Podium".
So what was the best moment for you during the 2010 Olympics?

I would have to agree on number one and two. Can't really comment on number two because Canada was crazy when we won. This years Olympics totally made us proud to be Canadians. Can't wait to see what happens at the next one in Russia.
